Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- A contract between you and Beacon Park Cottages is made when payment is received, and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed holiday dates. The contract binds you and all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking.
- A non-refundable 25% deposit of the holiday cost is payable at the time of booking. Bookings made less than eight weeks before your arrival date must be paid in full.
- The balance needs to be paid no later than eight weeks before the commencement of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation, and you will remain liable to pay the balance of the hire.
- The maximum number of people using the cottage at any time must not exceed the number of people the cottage can sleep.
- Bookings cannot be accepted from anyone under eighteen years of age.
- Up to two pets are allowed in a cottage at one time, but they are not allowed onto beds, sofas or any other furniture. Please bring a bed for each pet, and never leave your pet(s) unattended in the property unless secured in an appropriate cage. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. We ask that you please check the garden areas before you leave.
- To help us be as eco-friendly as possible, please switch off lights, heating, and electrical appliances when you go out.
- Vaping or smoking anywhere inside the premises is not permitted and will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments.
- Please treat the cottage and the outdoor facilities with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged when you arrive in your cottage, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. Similarly, if there is damage or a breakage during your stay, please let us know promptly.
- Beacon Park Cottages shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building or grounds nor offer any compensation for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service.
- Beacon Park Cottages reserves the right to enter the property to undertake essential maintenance.
- Please respect your neighbours and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11 pm and 8 am.
- Beacon Park Cottages reserves the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
- If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing; an email is sufficient. If you cancel your holiday with us, we will not return any money received from you unless we manage to re-let the cottage for the same period. If the cottage is re-let at a discount, we will refund the total received from you less the discount. An £80 administration fee is also deducted from any refund we provide.
- We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
- Your booking will not be cancelled by us except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
- We ask that any problem or concerns which you may have during your holiday be immediately reported to Beacon Park Cottages so that we can endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to us at the time, and reported only after you have returned from holiday, will not be considered by Beacon Park Cottages.
- Beacon Park Cottages reserves the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
